Musical Groups

Music is an integral part of church life at University Congregational Church.

It serves a liturgical function by supporting the proclamation of the word. Participation allows members of the congregation to express themselves through the gift of music, and enables a greater feeling of fellowship and community. Music contributes to inter-generational opportunities both in worship and in church school. These musical experiences strive to bring participant and listener closer to God.

Ron Wilcott is our Director of Music.  If you want to be involved in any of these musical groups, or have some questions or ideas about music, please contact him at the church.

At UCC, music is varied in style and medium - instrumental, vocal, solo, small and large ensemble. This variety provides for a diversity of liturgical experiences to broaden the expression of faith for the congregation as a whole.

We invite you to enjoy - as listener or participant, or both - music at UCC!
